In this guide you’ll learn how the Payments iQ permission works for users in TiQ.

Within the Payments iQ box in the Permissions section in a user profile, you’ll find 2 different permissions that can be granted:

  1. Payments iQ
  2. Hide Full Service Fee

- When the Payments iQ permission is checked, the user has the ability to:

- When the Hide Full Service Fee permission is checked, the user won’t be able to:

  • Manually add Ledger entries and run Batch Payments. (the +New… button in the Ledger will be hidden)
  • Generate Superbills.
  • IMPORTANT: The full service fee will be hidden for the user in the Ledger, Payment Detail Page, Event Form, and calendar appointments.
  • Additionally, the 'Payment' icon and 'Record Attendance' button will be removed in the event pop-up.

NOTE: This prevents the user from accessing the 'Confirm Services and Fees' page which also provides billing information.

IMPORTANT: Even if the Payments iQ permission is unchecked and the Hide Full Service Fee permission is enabled, there are still some areas where fees may be visible. For example, in Client Files, since it stores all documents related to the client, such as claims, receipts, and other records where fees are visible.
