How To Enroll For Insurance Eligibility & ERA

To receive ERAs and verify client insurance benefits in TiQ, practices must complete the required enrollments with each payer. These enrollments are usually completed during the Onboarding process (if you selected the full onboarding experience). However, if you need to enroll with a new payer after Onboarding, or if you are self-onboarding and wish to begin your insurance enrollments, this guide will walk you through the process.

From the Navigation Bar, select Practice Manager

Under Practice Manager select VOB / ERA Enrollment button

You will then be redirected to the Insurance Enroll Provider page

Select the Payer from the drop down menu or begin typing the Payer Name or Payer ID #

Select Enroll Type

- ERA - To enroll to receive ERAs

- Elig - To enroll to complete Insurance Eligibility Verification

You must enroll for each option individually to be provided with both eligibility (verification of benefits) and ERA

IMPORTANT: Most payers don’t require an enrollment to begin submitting claims. However, some payers—such as Medicare—do. This type of enrollment cannot be initiated from this page. If you’re unsure whether a specific payer requires an enrollment for claims, please contact our Support Team for assistance.

The Provider Name, Provider Tax ID, and Provider NPI will be filled from the information entered into the company settings.

If you have more than one NPI in your Practice Settings, select the correct NPI from the dropdown.

The following fields are optional:

- Provider Id

- Contact Name

- Contact Title

- Contact Email

- Contact Phone Number

Submit to start the enrollment process

After this, you will probaby be brought to a Quick Enroll page or an information page from the Payer requesting more information. Complete the requested information and submit.

IMPORTANT: These enrollments usually take several weeks to complete, and the timeframe may vary depending on the payer. If you’re unsure about the status of your enrollment, please contact our Support Team for assistance.
