Self Scheduling on TiQ is a feature that allows your clients to schedule their appointments from their portal based on your availability and appointment type, set up by you in your user profile.

Here is how to set up your self-scheduling schedule.
Open your Profile in TiQ.
Select the Time Management tab.
Below Availability Settings, you will see Self Scheduling.

Select the Service Name.
Add a Display Name.
Note: This service name will display on the client Portal, you can select the same service name, but you can not input the same display name.
Select the Location from the dropdown.
Note: This drop down should include the locations that have been previously setup in the practice settings under service locations
Select the Increments.
Select the Start Time and End Time.
Select the Days.
If the same days, times, and locations are selected for different services, an error will appear stating "Combination of weekday(s) and location should not overlap other self schedules"
Select the + Add More button to set up the times and service types that you are available for clients to schedule.
Once the + Add More button is selected, you will see the following screen.
*Select the + Add More button again to add another service type that the client can self-schedule themselves for. Add as many as you need.
To add a buffer of time before and after each self-scheduled event, select the increments of time here.
Once your self-scheduling setup is complete, your client will be able to see the following options on their Client Portal:
Note: Once the event is created by the client from their portal the event will appear on Calendar iQ and you will receive an email notification.
Important Tips to remember regarding self-scheduling:
- Appointments scheduled via the self-scheduler will be added by default on Calendar iQ.
- TiQ will automatically check for already scheduled events. If you make an update to your TiQ calendar, the self-scheduling availability will change as well.
