Understanding The Action Items On An ERA - Line Item View

In this guide we explain you the different action items from a line item ERA

  • View: By selecting the ‘View’ action item, the ERA will open in a new pop-up window.
  • Mark as worked: Selecting the ‘Mark as worked’ action item will manually mark the selected individual ERA as worked indicating that you're done with that entry.
  • Post Claim: Selecting the ‘Post Claim’ action item, the ERA will post to the clients ledger. The Paid amount will go to the insurance paid column and any Adjustment with a CO code will go to the adjustment column on the ledger.
  • Add/Edit Note: This will allow you to add or edit notes to an ERA. Click here to learn more about ERA notes
  • Archived: Selecting the ‘Archived’ action item, the ERA will be stored or moved to an archive section for historical reference or record-keeping purposes.
