Understanding Client Statuses

TiQ defines five client statuses: Intake, Active, Inactive, Discharged, and Lead. The client will evolve through these statuses as different forms are completed in Therapy iQ. You may not need to manually edit the client’s status, but the option to do so is always available in the client profile

Each status can be described as follows:

Intake

- A client’s status automatically becomes Intake when they are imported from Waitlist iQ

- This status can also be selected when the client profile is initially created manually

Active

- A client’s status automatically changes from Intake to Active once a Treatment Plan is submitted and services have been assigned

- Dashboard alerts can only be triggered by Active clients

Inactive

- This status can only be manually selected

- Inactive clients remain in your client roster until they are manually deleted

- Inactive clients don't trigger alerts

- Inactive clients won't automatically change their status even if forms are completed or events are booked for them.

- Inactive clients don't have access to the client portal.

Lead

- This can be manually used when your client has been imported to Client iQ from the Waitlist iQ, but you still would like to have this client listed as a Lead.

NOTE: Even Though the client status is Lead, if they are listed on Client iQ, they are still considered to be an active client

Discharged

- A client’s status automatically becomes Discharged once a Discharge Report document is completed

- This status should be selected for clients who have completed the discharge process.

- Discharged clients don't have access to the client portal.
