Understanding Calendar iQ Syncing

At TiQ we understand the importance of keeping an accurate and updated calendar. In this guide you’ll learn how to use the Calendar Syncing feature in Calendar iQ.

Things to remember before you sync:

- On Google Calendar, the Calendar iQ events will only display the client first and last name initials, as well as the event type. This maintains privacy for you, your clients, and your team.

- On Calendar iQ, Google Calendar events will only show as a *Busy* segments with no details of the event accessible from the original calendar.

- You should only sync to one Google or Outlook calendar at a time.

- Sync refreshes every 5 mins.‍

IMPORTANT: if you share your TiQ synced calendar with a 3rd party, you can provide them a snapshot of the current content of your TiQ synced calendar. However, this calendar will be a static version and cannot be modified or updated as you make changes to your TiQ synced calendar.

From the Navigation Bar, Select Calendar iQ

In Calendar iQ, select the Link Calendar button.

Select your preferred option: Google Calendar or Copy the URL to sync with an email app that supports email syncing, such as Outlook, Yahoo, or Apple Calendars

Sync Google Calendar

Select the Sign in with Google button.

Select the email address and password for your Google Account. In the permissions screen select Allow.

Your screen will automatically refresh and you should see your events on both calendars.

Events from Calendar iQ will display the client’s initials and the event type in Google Calendar.

IMPORTANT: Editing a Calendar iQ event in Google Calendar will not update the event in TiQ.
