Saving Documents in TiQ

TiQ understands that our users need the ability to save documentation to complete at a later time. In this guide, we will break down how to save documents in TiQ and utilize the Draft Status on documentation

Draft Status is when a form has been saved and closed. The form is not completed and/or has not been submitted. The form can still be edited. The form will not count in any alerts or workflow automation in draft status

How to save, close, and keep a form in draft status

From within any form, you will see a Save & Close button

When selected you will see the following message:

Once you Confirm, you will see that your form is in the list with a status of Draft

In Draft status, you can Edit and Delete your form

Edit will open the form to make further changes

Delete will remove the form entirely

If a form has been submitted, it can be edited within 7 days before the document is locked

If a form has been submitted, then edited within 7 days and the user then saves the form, please take note that the form will lock once it is submitted again and 7 days have passed

If 7 days have passed from the first submission date, you will need to utilize the Amend option

Starting Documentation from the Calendar

If you are starting documentation from the calendar and already have a form in Draft Status you will see the following message:

Because only 1 Draft Status form is allowed at a time, you will need to decide if you want to:

Continue and override the draft documentation with information that will be added from this new documentation

OR

Cancel and complete the draft documentation first then return to this document at a later time.
