In TiQ you have the ability to generate billing statements and send them to clients via email by accessing the client’s personal ledger. This guide will provide the steps to do it.
Navigate to the Billing Overview within the client profile

Select See All Billing Transactions

Once you access the client’s ledger, select Export As…

When you see the pop up window, select Generate PDF Billing Statement.
IMPORTANT: If you'd like to send this document to the client immediately, be sure to check the Email Billing Statement to Client box.

The Billing Statement will be saved in PDF within the Client Files

When selected, the PDF document will be opened in a new tab.
The Billing Statement displays payer and practice information at the top.

It also displays an Account Summary section that provides an overview of the client’s balance.
Note: The Account Summary reflects the client’s responsibility only and does not include pending insurance balances. The Amount Due Today is calculated as Previous Balance + New Charges (This Statement) − Available Credits and reflects the total client responsibility through the statement’s generation date.

The Billing Statement includes the following columns under the Transaction Table:
Service Information: Displays details of the services associated with the event.

Billed Amount: Shows the Full Service Fee for the event.

Insurance Payments: Reflects any insurance payments, adjustments received and claims .

Insurance Payments will be displayed individually for each session.

Any adjustments made to the invoice and their dates will also appear in this column.

Client Payments: Reflects any client payments or refunds applied.

Any refunds made will also be shown in this column individually.

Client Balance: Displays the client's remaining balance after client payments have been applied.

Note: The totals row shows the sum of all columns.
Download Excel File button: This option allows you to export the client’s ledger to a Excel spreadsheet for easier manipulation.
